Denbighshire County Council is looking for contractors for its four-year North Wales school building framework worth up to £270m. A maximum of 15 contractors will be selected for the North Wales Schools and Public Buildings Contractor Framework to deliver work for six county councils and other public bodies in the region. The framework will be used to deliver projects funded through the 21st Century Schools Programme, through which the Welsh Government and the Welsh Local Government Association are building new schools and refurbishing existing schools. It will also cover other public buildings in the region, such as leisure facilities, council offices, visitor centres and emergency services buildings. The framework is worth up to £270m over four years and is divided into three lots. The time limit for requests for documents is 27 September and tenders must be submitted by 2 October 2013.
