Carillion, Hochtief and Sisk/Lagan in race for £96m Lincolnshire roads job
Four bidders are in the running for a £96m contract to build Lincoln’s Eastern Bypass. Carillion and Hochtief have been shortlisted as sole bidders, while Graham/Farrans and Sisk/Lagan Construction Group joint ventures also make the list. Work will start this autumn and is expected to take two years to complete.

Graham Construction to build £20m Lincoln’s Inn Great Hall and Library extension
Graham Construction has won a £20m conservation and extension job for Lincoln’s Inn that will see the listed building undergo the most significant work since its construction in the 19th century.
Morgan Sindall to build Bournemouth University's £39.5m health faculty
Morgan Sindall has been appointed via the Southern Construction Framework to design and build a new £39.5m Faculty of Health and Social Sciences for Bournemouth University. The 10,000 sq m building will, subject to planning permission, be built at Lansdowne, on the main routes into the town by road and rail.
Kier wins contract for £25m Mackintosh Building restoration
Kier Construction has been appointed to rebuild Scotland’s fire-ravaged Mackintosh Building, in a £25m deal. The contract is for the full restoration of the building, which was badly damaged in a fire in May 2014. Works will be split into two phases and will include the refurbishment of the fire damaged stonework and the replacement of the roofs over the east and west wings of the building. Initial works have already begun, with the main upgrades starting in 2017.
