The local authority is setting up a dynamic purchasing system where contractors for minor building works will be registered. Balfour bags £103m seven-year Midlands roads deal Balfour Beatty has won a £103m seven-year roads maintenance contract Telford Wrekin Council. The deal will see the firm take responsibility for the upkeep of 1,000 km of highways and 1,200 km of footpaths.
