Work has started on site for a scheme by Wm Morrison Supermarkets Plc at the Leisure Plaza site in South Row at Childs Way, Milton Keynes. ISG Plc started this work on 15th September 2014. This scheme comprises of the fit-out of the new Morrison's supermarket. Turner & Townsend are the quantity surveyors in this £9.2 million scheme.

Work has completed on a scheme by Musgrave Retail Partners NI on land at 1-2 Downpatrick Road in Crossgar, Downpatrick. Carn Developments Ltd completed this work on 12th September 2014. The scheme comprised of the demolition and the construction of retail units, a petrol filling station and a supermarket totalling 1,069sqm. Clarman Architects are the architects who designed this £1 million scheme.

Gateshead Council intends to enter into a framework agreement to provide mechanical and/or electrical engineering consultancy services (lead and non-lead) to support the in-house delivery team. It is anticipated that a significant proportion of the specific contracts commissioned from this framework agreement will be single discipline therefore the framework agreement will be split into 3 lots. Robert Woodhead Ltd has been awarded a £3.8m contract at Marble Hall, Former Rolls Royce Offices, Nightingale Road, Osmaston, Derby for Derby City Council. The development of the the design and construction of refurbishment and redevelopment works of the Marble Hall to form a community facility within the Grade II listed building. The aims of the development are: Refurbishment and conversion of Grade II listed building, protecting the historic fabric of the building; Bring the building back to use as a community facility, with a sustainable economically viable future; To create a focal point for the community and a visible commencement of the regeneration of Osmaston. The building is to be fully DDA compliant, including a disabled/passenger lift; Original features to be retained where possible; The rear of the building to incorporate parkings areas and a community garden; Public realm to set a contect for the building; Requirements for the internal spaces are flexible dependant upon end users and funding, but likely to be required to be suitable for uses such as small business units, meeting rooms, office space, community cafe, community room, health care, child care and training facilities; A high quality, welcoming, reception area and informal gathering space; Sufficient kitchenette and WC facilities for tenants of the building; Cleaning stores with sink and running water; Delivery/loading area. The contract period is estimated to be 10 months and construction completed prior to March 2015 to abide by funding conditions.
