Tenders invited for public realm works

Bracknell Forest Borough Council are currently inviting contractors to tender for the Public Realm Services 2014 - Lot 1 Highways Maintenance and Street Lighting Maintenance; Lot 2 Street Cleansing and Lot 3 Grounds Maintenance. Tenders are due back on the 13th December 2013. The contract is valued between £70m and £140m and is to commence 1st April 2014 for 7 years.

Plans submitted for £3.7m supermarket

Further outline plans have now been submitted for a scheme by Brookhouse Group Ltd at the Meteor Retail Park in Somerford Road, Christchurch. This scheme comprises of the construction of a warehouse park to provide a new supermarket of 4,959sqm with 258 car parking spaces. The existing retail units will also need to be demolished. RGP Architects are the architects who designed this £3.7 million scheme.

Tenders invited for school extension

Kingshott School is currently inviting tenders for a school extension at Stevenage Road, Hitchin. The scheme comprises demolition of structures and construction of classrooms, dining hall, kitchen, gymnasium and reception. Sustainable Information: This development has been designed to achieve Very Good BREEAM rating. The tender return date is the 2nd December 2013 with works expected to start in April 2014.

London School of Economics is currently inviting tenders for library refurbishment works at High Holborn in London. The scheme comprises total refurbishment works to the women's library. The tender return date is the 11th November 2013. with works expecting to start in December 2013.
